Designing a pattern on a tape or a fabric on one’s own, one can encounter a few obstacles, especially if one hadn’t encountered any projects of this kind before. We will be happy to help on every stage of designing, however, first we recommend to get familiar with our offer of ready-made patterns to be printed, as well as with pattern designing service. Below you can find some of our realisations, if any of the projects are close to your preferences, you are welcome to contact and collaborate with us.
How do you order your own pattern design to be printed on tapes and fabrics?
If you are decided to entrust us with a print design, contact us on kontakt@hauke.com.pl, including the information below:
- Do you want to design a pattern to be printed on a fabric or a tape (or on both of them)? What kind of tape (webbing, trimming, tubular, rubber, advertising lanyard) do you need?
- Should the print be the same on the obverse and reverse of the tape or should they be different?
- Links for auxiliary materials – of various works that you like – will be very helpful. Thanks to that we’ll be able to understand more what particular effect you desire for.
- Other comments for a graphic designer.
How do you make your own pattern to be printed?
If you wish to try designing on your own, you can make a pattern yourself e.g. with the help of stocks such as Creative Market, Shutterstock. It is enough if you have some basic literacy of some graphics softwares (e.g. Photoshop, Canva) to lay out some particular layers.
Elements smaller than 0.3mm should be avoided, excessive dark spots also should be avoided, especially those with delicate gradient because such shades often fuse and the gradient disappears. The sublimation print “likes colours” – what looks the prettiest are contrasting elements of a pattern with expressive, vivid colours.
- Files format – PSD, AI, EPS, PDF, TIFF, TIF, JPG, JPEG, PNG.
- Colours space – RGB.
- Files names without special signs.
- Files size shouldn’t exceed 1000mm. Project width for particular webbing widths:
| Webbing width | File width |
| 10mm | 14mm |
| 15mm | 19mm |
| 20mm | 24mm |
| 25mm | 29mm |
| 30mm | 34mm |
| 37mm | 44mm |
