The Oxford fabric is a very durable, waterproof material with the basis weight of 270g. It is made from 100 % polyester with some polyurethane layer applied on it. It doesn’t get creased and thanks to high resistance to breaking and ripping off it can be used for products that are exposed to heavy exploitation. Beside that, the Oxford fabric stands heavy atmospheric conditions well, simultaneously, it is pleasant to touch and all the smudges of dirt can be easily washed up.

Beside its waterproof properties, it is a breathable fabric so it can be successfully used for sewing clothes, protective cases and the like.

The sublimation print technology allows receiving a very durable effect, thanks to which the print doesn’t get worn-out, nor faded. The colours are very vivid, expressive and harsh.

This kind of polyester fabrics meets the standard of PN-EN 71-3+A3:2018-09 E, considering safety of toys and all the products for children.

The fabric is produced from 100% recycled poliester fibres.

Examples of the usage of the Oxford fabric:

  • outdoor, sport, military accessories
  • backpacks, bags (beach bags, tool bags, RTV accessories bags)
  • bum bags, clutch bags
  • garden furniture binding
  • pet dens, dog harness and collar binding
  • jackets, waistcoats
  • baby prams upholstery, baby slings
  • car first-aid kits and mats
  • kitchen aprons, baby bibs
  • car, bicycle and motorcycle covers
  • picnic blanket, hammocks, beach windbreaks

A titbit: The name Oxford comes from the famous University of Oxford. The fabric was invented in XIX c. in Scotland and its innovation came down to the characteristic weave, which substituted the classical weave of single warp threads. Thanks to the substitution, the fabric gained much resistance and durability.
